What is the Domestications satisfaction guarantee?

Every item, every day, is 100% guaranteed! If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, return it within 90 days of receipt for an exchange, refund or merchandise credit (excluding delivery and service charges)? no questions asked. After 90 days, no returns will be accepted. Because monogramming is a custom service, we cannot accept returns on monogrammed items once they have been shipped, unless we at Domestications have made an error.

How do I return an item to Domestications?

Please ship your return merchandise, with the requested information completed on the back of your packing slip, to the following address via insured mail:

How do I exchange an item for a like item (The same item but a different size or color)?

If you've kept your packing slip, fill out the exchanges/returns portion of the form with the replacement item(s) size or color you would like to order, and include it when sending your return merchandise.

Shipping charges to return the original item is the customer's responsibility (unless the exchange is due to damage or error on our part). Your replacement item will then be shipped to you at no charge. If you have specific questions about exchanging an item, please call us at 1-800-826-8240.

How do I exchange an item I've received for something else?

If you've kept your packing slip, fill out the exchanges/returns portion of the form with the item(s) you would like to order, and include it when sending your return merchandise. If the amount for the new item(s) exceeds the amount to be refunded (cost of the product only; delivery and service charge can not be refunded unless the error was ours), please include payment for the additional amount, including delivery charges. How do I return or exchange a gift bought for me from Domestications?

For exchanges: Fill out the form on the back of your packing slip as you would for a regular return or exchange (see above). If you're not exchanging the item(s) immediately, we will send you a gift certificate for the dollar amount of the item(s) you're returning. If you are exchanging the item(s) and the amount for the replacement item(s) exceeds the cost for the return item(s), please include payment for the additional amount (you will not need to include delivery and service charges). If you do not know the price of the item you are returning, you may search for it on our site (enter the item number from your packing slip in the search field at the top of this page) or call us at 1-800-826-8240 . For Returns: Fill out the form on the back of your packing slip as you would for a regular return (see above). If the item was a gift, we will send you a gift certificate for the dollar amount of the item(s) you're returning (excluding delivery and service charges).

I lost my packing slip. What information do you need for my return?

If you've lost your packing slip, call us at 1-800-826-8240 for assistance. We will search for your order and give you the information you need to include with your return, including your order number. Ship your return merchandise to the address above -- don't forget to include your order number with your package! We recommend insuring your return shipment, as we cannot give credit for items that we do not receive in our operations center.

What do I do if Domestications shipped me the wrong item(s) or my order was damaged in transit?

For fastest service, call us at 1-800-826-8240 or email us at custserv@domestications.com with your order number, name, address and details on the item you ordered and the item you received. If the requested item is in stock, we will ship it to you immediately. Your credit card will be charged for the second shipment, but you will be credited for the return once we receive it in our fulfillment center. We will assist you in returning the original shipment for a full refund, including delivery and service charges.

Will I get a full refund for my return?

If you return the item within the returns period in new or like-new condition, with proof of purchase (i.e., your packing slip), you will receive a full refund for the cost of the product, based on your original payment method (i.e., check or credit card). We can not refund original or return postage unless we shipped the wrong item, it was damaged in transit, or the item is defective. After the returns period, if you are the purchaser, no returned items will be accepted and any returned items which we receive will be returned to you. If the item was a gift, and if you are returning the item after the returns period, we will send you a gift certificate for the dollar amount of the item(s) you're returning (excluding delivery and service charges). If you do not have your packing slip or original order number, call us at 1-800-826-8240 and we will search for your order. If we do not find an original order, we will issue you a gift certificate based on the current selling price of the item(s), upon receipt of your return in our operations center.

How long does it take to get my refund?

Depending on the method you use to return the item(s) to us, it can take up to 7-14 days for us to receive your parcel. If you placed your order with a credit card, the credit should be applied to your account, and should appear on your statement, within one billing cycle from the time we process your return. If you ordered by check, your refund check will be processed for mailing by first-class mail, within 7 days of the time we process your return.
